The oceans have always been a symbol for opportunity and discovery. And with a world population that keeps on growing, they are likely to play a crucial role in tomorrow’s food production. When done right, aquaculture has the potential to be one of the most interesting future protein sources. This is because fish and shrimp can be farmed far more sustainably than livestock. Over the past few years, we have been fortunate to work closely with INVE Aquaculture, one of this industry’s pioneering companies that started out over 35 years ago as a spin-off of the University of Ghent.
