When Puurs and Sint-Amands were planning to merge into one municipality and asked us to create a new brand identity, we saw an opportunity to do more: to unite eight smaller local communities around one common perspective for the future. Stronger, more vital and more prosperous together.

Together with Maradonna, and with the stakeholders and inhabitants of Puurs and Sint-Amands, we created a story built on the idea that eight historical boroughs – each with their own strengths and charm – will be able to become a better place to live, work and visit when they join forces and work towards a common future.

The vision behind this new story was translated into the new municipal logo. A graphical pattern of eight lines that symbolize the connection between the eight residential areas of Puurs-Sint-Amands. In the center of the logo, the letter ‘P’ (for Puurs) highlights the steering role of the biggest sub-municipality.
